A Little Motivation

Even though my boys are getting older, I still like to surprise them  from time to time with encouraging notes in their lunch bags.

A little motivation goes a long way, ya know? 😀

One of my recent creations. If this isn't motivating, I don't know what is.

Sammy can’t read yet, but I put stickers in his lunch sometimes😊 He wants me to put extra sometimes for his school friends and teacher even😍 And he’s still trying to finish his advent chocolates and brings those for the teacher too! Lol.
I’ll have to try your note technique when Sammy gets older:)

    • Aww, Sammy is so sweet! My boys have difficulty making their advent calendars last until Christmas Eve, let alone having leftovers. Usually I catch them trying to “eat ahead.” 😀

You should definitely start your note writing practice! I bet Sammy will be ready for goofy lunch notes by the end of this year. 😉

  2. I wish my mom had left me a Grape Laffy Taffy in my lunch bag. Then again…they did not exist when I was that young. Neither did Adele. The “please be good” note is indeed an impressive, constructive motivational tool…adding in a spiritual aspect is also a very nice touch.

    • I believe strongly in utilizing a multi-level approach when it comes to maximizing the child-friendly appeal factor.

Would you believe that piece of Laffy Taffy was actually left over from Halloween? (And yes, I admit, I may have hidden the Halloween candy bucket a while back, then forgotten about it until recently.) 😀
