@thebiglybestestdoggie: Wanna know something funny? Momma never made those crazy kids of hers homemade ice cream… But she whipped up this special watermelon ice cream, just for me! I think she likes me. A lot.
~Happy Tuesday, friends! Special thanks to Joan for inspiring me to treat this happy doggie to a bit of homemade ice cream!~
That looks delish! Lucky Jett. What a good dog mama you are, finding a special safe recipe just for him. 🙂

It was rather tasty! Sure, it was a doggie recipe, but since it consisted of only frozen watermelon and plain yogurt, I figured I’d try a bit myself. 😛

Judging by the way Jett devoured his bowl of yummy goodness, I bet your Charlie must’ve been a fan of sweet treats, too! 😉

haha! He hated getting in the car until on one occasion we went thru the drive thru to get ice cream cones. Every day after that he tried to get in the car when we left supposing we were going to get ice cream cones!

Don’t forget to spit out the seeds, Jett. If you swallow one, a watermelon will grow in your belly. My Mom told me, so it must be true…

That probably is true… which is why I took care in plucking out the seeds before making the ice cream. 😛

Although it was a recipe especially for dogs, it was totally people friendly. And it was good, if I may say so myself! 😛
