@thebiglybestestdoggie: Why is the sky blue? Why is my ball so far away? Why can’t I have a big bag of yummy treats for breakfast? And why, oh why, is nobody rubbing my glorious belly?
~Happy Tuesday, friends! Apparently, a few belly rubs and some doggie treats go a long way in the world of dogs! Life’s little pleasures, right?~
Have a Bigly Belly Rub from me Jett 😉

Dogs seem so easy to please. I’m sure we could learn so much from them!!

I agree. Humans have much to learn from our wise (and sometimes crazy) furry friends. 😊

Portrait of Bigly contemplating the big issues. Like, why can’t my treats be as big as this ball?

Oh, without a doubt. Treats need to be equal in size and weight to the doggie eating it. At least, that’s what Jett has been telling me… 😛

Dogs are color-blind, aren’t they? And when we put their ball out of sight, they forget all about it because they lack object permanence. Same with the treats in the cupboard. So say the scientists. My dogs, like Jett, say otherwise. Tailor saw a big, lumpy, neon-green walnut fall from a tree the other day and insisted we go get it. It was obvious he thought it was a tennis ball–same shape, same color… And he looks “through” the door of the treat cupboard as if he had X-ray vision. 🙂

Pftt! Scientists don’t give doggies nearly enough credit. They’re probably a million times smarter than we lowly humans. 😛

Poor Bigly, expected to reach a ball that’s so far away from him! 🙂 🙂 xxx

I know, right? It’s so close… yet so very, very far. Poor Jett. 😛
