Bigly Bestest Runaway

@thebiglybestestdoggie: Youngest owner promised to walk me, so I waited in the backyard. But I didn’t want to wait. Then the wind blew the gate open. It was like magic! Adventure called my name! Freedom at last! Oh, but then the kid came along and “rescued” me.

What do you mean I'm not supposed to go for unsupervised walks?!?

~Happy Tuesday, friends! I can only imagine what goes on in the minds of doggies. Especially after watching The Secret Life of Pets… Yikes!~

  1. Oh my!! Our puppy knows that if he can squeeze past you out the front door…freedom. The only problem is he thinks it’s a game and wants you to chase him instead of coming back like he should.

    • Absolutely. Boldly and without remorse, to boot. There’s a big world out there that extends beyond the backyard, and Jett simply must do some exploring on his own. Or so he thinks… 😛

  2. Go, Jett!!! When the wind blows the gate open, that’s Serendipity tapping you on the shoulder. One of mine would totally do this, the other would stay obediently in the yard. The one that “escapes” runs to the front of the house and lays on the doormat. 🙂

    • But isn’t escaping to the front doormat the ultimate act of defiance and rebellion! 😛 Unfortunately, Jett is not inclined to agree. He just can’t resist an opportunity to go for a stroll around the neighborhood, supervised or not.
