~Happy Tuesday! Evidently, I’ve been sorely lacking motivation and creativity lately, and managed to fall behind on pretty much everything a person could possibly fall behind in. But here’s to hoping I get back on track soon, because Jett and I sure miss all of our wonderful blogger friends!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: Follow up appointment with vet went really well! So excited afterward that I jumped right into the driver seat, where I clearly belong. Momma didn’t think I was ready for that leap though, so I didn’t get to drive home after all. But at least my leg is finally healing well, and will be starting on physical therapy exercises this week! Hooray for progress!
After this long road to recovery, I really do think I’ve earned the right to drive…

@thebiglybestestdoggie: Now that I’m finally free from the cone, I have so many options! I might do a bit of yoga… or play with my squeaky ball… or maybe ‘ll go outside in the sun and thrash around in the grass. So many fun possibilities!

@thebiglybestestdoggie: When life gets challenging, this yoga doggie loves to stretch, mediate, and nap his way to inner peace! Life in the cone hasn’t exactly been a picnic, so I’ve been working hard to find my Zen whenever Momma rolls out this comfy yoga mat. I must say, it seems to be helping!

@thebiglybestestdoggie: Older owner kid decided I could use a friend, so he made me this virtual kitty. She’s a pretty good friend… low maintenance, totally chill and doesn’t make any demands… yeah, she’s nice to have around. Best of all, she literally disappears whenever I’m ready for a break!

@thebiglybestestdoggie: Just when it seemed I was on the road to recovery, woke up one morning and realized something wasn’t right. All the progress made since surgery seemed to have disappeared, and I was in a lot of pain. Went back to the doctor, and discovered I had developed an infection. Looks like I’ll be wearing this cone for a while…

@thebiglybestestdoggie: Doggie down! Doggie down! Must have moved wrong during a game of fetch with Daddy, and now I’m hopping around like some kind of kooky rabbit. The doctor said I can’t go for walks, play fetch, or do anything fun. Hopefully my leg will heal on its own. I really, really don’t want to have a surgery…
If there’s one benefit right now, it’s being waited on like royalty. Look at me dining in style in the living room!

@thebiglybestestdoggie: When nature called on my walk, I squatted down and stared straight into the window of a parked AT&T van. I realized there was a guy sitting in the van, so I gave a big, friendly grin. The guy glanced back at me in horror, and quickly took off like he had somewhere better to be. Guess not everyone can handle the sight of a happy poopie pup. Weird…
