@thebiglybestestdoggie: Follow up appointment with vet went really well! So excited afterward that I jumped right into the driver seat, where I clearly belong. Momma didn’t think I was ready for that leap though, so I didn’t get to drive home after all. But at least my leg is finally healing well, and will be starting on physical therapy exercises this week! Hooray for progress!
After this long road to recovery, I really do think I’ve earned the right to drive…
~Happy Tuesday, friends! We’re so happy to finally be on the right track to recovery, and we appreciate each and every one of you for all your support!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: Now that I’m finally free from the cone, I have so many options! I might do a bit of yoga… or play with my squeaky ball… or maybe ‘ll go outside in the sun and thrash around in the grass. So many fun possibilities!
Cone-free life is gooood…
~Happy Tuesday, friends!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: When life gets challenging, this yoga doggie loves to stretch, mediate, and nap his way to inner peace! Life in the cone hasn’t exactly been a picnic, so I’ve been working hard to find my Zen whenever Momma rolls out this comfy yoga mat. I must say, it seems to be helping!
Anyone in the market for a new yoga buddy?
~ Happy Tuesday, friends! We are cautiously optimistic right now- Jett seems to be responding well to the current antibiotics, so fingers (and paws!) crossed for continued progress. Thank you all for cheering him on during this rollercoaster recovery ordeal. ❤ ~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: Older owner kid decided I could use a friend, so he made me this virtual kitty. She’s a pretty good friend… low maintenance, totally chill and doesn’t make any demands… yeah, she’s nice to have around. Best of all, she literally disappears whenever I’m ready for a break!
Isn’t my new friend adorable?
~Happy Tuesday, friends! Jett is still working on getting better, but we are definitely making progress once again. Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and well wishes!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: Just when it seemed I was on the road to recovery, woke up one morning and realized something wasn’t right. All the progress made since surgery seemed to have disappeared, and I was in a lot of pain. Went back to the doctor, and discovered I had developed an infection. Looks like I’ll be wearing this cone for a while…
One step forward, two steps back…
~Hey, friends. Jett’s recovery process has been nothing short of frustrating and challenging, but here’s to hoping for better days ahead. Hope you are all doing well. We’ve missed you!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: OMG! OMG! Momma coned the kid too! Wait, what? He’s willingly wearing that thing? In support of me?? Oh, that’s really sweet…
Whoa! What the heck just happened?
~Happy Tuesday, friends! Jett continues to improve a little more each day… and with any luck, he’ll be free from his stylish blue cone in just a few more days. Woo hoo!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: Doggie down! Doggie down! Must have moved wrong during a game of fetch with Daddy, and now I’m hopping around like some kind of kooky rabbit. The doctor said I can’t go for walks, play fetch, or do anything fun. Hopefully my leg will heal on its own. I really, really don’t want to have a surgery…
If there’s one benefit right now, it’s being waited on like royalty. Look at me dining in style in the living room!
~Hey friends, Jett could use some positive healing vibes right now, so please feel free to send some his way!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: When nature called on my walk, I squatted down and stared straight into the window of a parked AT&T van. I realized there was a guy sitting in the van, so I gave a big, friendly grin. The guy glanced back at me in horror, and quickly took off like he had somewhere better to be. Guess not everyone can handle the sight of a happy poopie pup. Weird…
Still laughing about this amusing tail… I mean, tale.
~Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s always fun to find humor in the most unexpected situations, isn’t it? ~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: For Valentine’s Day, Momma gave the crazy kids a bunch of indoor snowballs. It sounded fun… until one of them had the brilliant idea to turn it into an absolute battlefield by launching them all at ME! Sure, it’s all fun and games… until it turns into a game of Doggie Dodgeball!
Do I look like I’m having fun?
~Happy Tuesday, friends! When life doesn’t give you real snowballs to throw, sometimes you just have to improvise. And don’t worry, Jett is fine. Those “snowballs” are just enormous balls of puffy cotton!~
@thebiglybestestdoggie: Since nobody in this house has bothered to build King Jett a magnificent throne, I’ve decided to claim my rightful place at the top of the staircase- the highest place of honor. That’s right, I’m King of the Stairs. And nobody can pass through without proper payment… in the form of yummy dog treats, of course!
Thou shall not pass… unless there are treats involved.
~Happy Tuesday, friends!~
