Dogs and cats have their ways of letting us know how to prioritize our time. One dog will not go to sleep until he had been thoroughly rubbed and scratched. The other wants to be let out at 2 am. The cat meows at the pantry door for his tuna before my eyes are even open, and paces up and down the counter until lands in his bowl. 🙂
