@thebiglybestestdoggie: Found this sweet little gem while walking through the neighborhood with Momma. Guess we all need a reminder to slow down and take the time to truly notice and appreciate the small joys that are right there in front of us. So stop and smell the roses… and the rocks, too!

Even the tiniest token of kindness can brighten someone’s day, so don’t forget to pay it forward every chance you get!
~Happy Tuesday, friends! And in case you were wondering, Jett did, in fact, consider eating that precious rock. Guess he thought it was ‘sweet’ in all the right ways. Haha!~
Haha that look on his face after he discovered it really was just a rock! :D:D

Well, this doggie has been known to eat the occasional rock. Not sure what stopped him from eating this one! I guess he knew that it was a very special rock, and it’d be a lot less special if he hid it from the world by giving it a new home in his tummy. 😛

I’ve started leaving kindness rocks around the city I live in. I hope they brighten others’ day as it has yours. 😊

I keep seeing all the painted rocks people seem to find. I need to start looking for some (and leaving some as well). 🙂

The funny thing is, if not for Jett deciding to lift his leg to a tree at just the right moment, I might never have even noticed that lovely rock. 😛 But I guess that’s yet another thing to appreciate about pets; they force us to slow down and actually notice of all the beautiful little details that are right under our noses. 🙂

That’s so precious. Our kids can sometimes get on our nerves but the little things like that somehow negates all the bad that they’ve done.

My son is involved with a group, and they painted a bunch a rocks and left them in a park for people to find. I think that was last year though! Isn’t that the best thing ever? Love that Jett thought the one y’all found was sweet enough to eat! Mona

That’s so awesome! Making the world brighter, one motivating rock at a time; 😀
And yes, Jett showed appreciation in its highest form by wanting to ingest the sweetest rock he’d ever seen! 😛

OH I totally love this! The rock, your dog, the kindness — so perfect.
The banner on my blog says “Speak Kindness”, and I totally relate to this!
Thank you for sharing, and thanks for your blog. I find it uplifting, caring and fun. 🙂
Blessings

Yes, this certainly would align perfectly with your penchant for always finding and sharing kindness! 🙂
Fortunately, it seems kindness is everywhere in this world. Sometimes it just hides in the smallest, most unexpected things! 😀

Sweet, for sure. All the more sweet, I’d think, when it’s something so completely unassuming and unexpected! ❤

Luckily, that was one of Jett’s better finds! He’s usually drawn to all the wrong things… 😛

Alright!! How awesome is that? Kindness rocks are taking over the world! 😀 😀 😀
I probably ought to make a few myself and keep this wonderful cycle going! 😉

Jett saying, “Awww if that were any sweeter I’d have to find some insulin.” OK, maybe not. 🙂

Ha! I would like to believe that Jett’s interest was truly in the sentimental meaning of the painted rock rather than the more tangible sweetness derived from ingesting said rock. 😛

How sweet! Maybe Jett will enjoy it for a few days, then help you find someplace to leave it for the next lucky recipient. 🙂

I need to find a few rocks to decorate and leave for others to enjoy. Think Jett will be on board with helping? 😛

Hmmmm, and Paul Simon told us that rocks were emotionless things. I guess Mr. Simon wasn’t a painted rock…

Clearly, Mr. Simon knew rather little about the true nature of rocks. I’d say he missed out if he never crossed paths with a rock that managed to put a smile on his face. 😉

I’d think Art Garfunkel’s hair would have been good for Paul’s daily laugh… but yeah, rocks were probably bland in the 60’s. And they didn’t even gain pet status until the next decade.
